ABOUT US

For over a hundred years, marine brown algae (giant algae) such as Llaminaria digitata, Llaminaria hyperborea, and Ascophyllum nodosum have been plucked from the bottoms of the tidal zones of the northern seas with hooks or collected from beaches, dried with electric or oil-powered dryers, and processed into alginates in factories.

The seaweed for our preparations is harvested by harvesting boats – ensuring the regrowth of the parent plants – and dried and ground on the same day using geothermal heat (consistently at the same temperature). This guarantees that the seaweed's cellular components are not destroyed by overheating or natural decomposition and are always of consistent quality. This is an essential prerequisite for the subsequent quality of our products.

Since our company was founded in 1983, we have used special extraction methods and post-treatment techniques to fully exploit the chemophysical and biological properties of the seaweed constituents using biological means and to adapt them to specific requirements so that the application of our preparations does not hinder or suppress natural processes, but rather supports and promotes them.

The preliminary result of these efforts is a series of highly effective natural products for soils, animals, and plants that provide astonishingly simple and economically and ecologically valuable solutions whenever solving problems with conventional means seems too expensive or even insoluble.
